Filmski večer / Movie night: Lilting

V sredo, 31. 5. ob 18. uri si bomo na DIHu ogledali film Lilting (2014) režiserja Hong Khaou-a. Film je bil predvajan na Sundance festivalu leta 2014 na katerem je osvojil nagrado za najboljši film.
Po ogledu pa bomo še malo diskutirali o filmu, zgodbi, junakih.

Po smrti sina Kaija njegovo žalujočo mater obišče Richard, partner njenega pokojnega sina, med njima pa se kljub jezični barieri splete nenavadna vez.

On Wednesday, 31. of May at 6 p.m. at DIH we will wach movie Lilting – a 2014 British drama film written and directed by Cambodian-born British director Hong Khaou. The film had its world premiere on the Sundance Film Festival, at which won the Cinematography Award.
About the film:
Lilting tells the story of a mother’s attempt at understanding who her son was after his untimely death. Her world is suddenly disrupted by the presence of his lover. Together, they attempt to overcome their grief whilst struggling against not having a shared language.
