Lgbtiq in Tech :: speaking workshop
5. 2. 2018 @ 18:00 - 21:00
NB: PLEASE APPLY VIA THE FORM PROVIDED
Effective communication can be a tough nut to crack. Yet, it’s required of us in so many different contexts — from holding a team meeting, selling your partner on a vacation to Madagascar, to presenting at a meet-up ;).
In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll teach you how to get your point across with ease.
– is it really worth it? How great communication can change the world — and help you in the workplace
– how to formulate your message perfectly every time
– getting over stage fright (even when there’s no stage!)
– loads of practice and a great time
The workshop is held by Anđela Čeh, an accomplished Belgrade-based LGBTIQ activist with over 6 years of experience in public relations, management, facilitation, and event organisation — including the Belgrade Pride parade. She has a graduated in Communications and Media Studies from Singidunum University and is a part of IGLYO’s pool of trainers.
Heidi Pun (the organiser and host of LGBTIQ in Tech :: Slovenia Meetups) will assist and share their story of transforming from someone super awkward to someone still super awkward, but now quite comfortable on stage.
The workshop is sponsored by the awesome Cofound.it 💜
Places are (very) limited. Please apply through the following form:
